Help Us, Please
Thursday, 9/3/09: A Stray Connection volunteer (cat rescue) has found a trailer in the woods in Loudon County with 23 dogs, most chained. A kind but poor man has been trying to take care of dogs that were dumped in the area; he has been very attentive and kind to them, so they are all friendly. They need to be spayed & neutered and we're hoping for donations to help for surgeries as well as homes.
Peaceful Kingdom (865-579-5164) was asked for help with s/n and placement. The Stray Connection is going to the site and doing transport, and Peaceful Kingdom has offered to pay for surgeries and try to find some options. The man is overwhelmed and receptive to help.
